Yellow Day at Kalpavruksha Bala Vidya Bhavan Preschool was a vibrant celebration that brought the warmth of sunshine and the cheer of happiness into our little ones’ world. From the very beginning, the school sparkled with the golden glow of yellow the color of brightness, positivity, and energy.
Children walked in dressed beautifully in shades of yellow pretty frocks, cheerful t-shirts, golden ribbons, and even sunflower hairbands. It felt as though rays of sunshine had stepped into our classrooms!
The school was decorated with yellow balloons, paper sunflowers, smiley faces, and cut-outs of mangoes, bananas, lemons, and sunflowers. The colorful environment instantly caught the children’s attention and created a joyful atmosphere.
The celebration began with a fun “Yellow Object Hunt,” where children happily searched for yellow toys, crayons, and blocks hidden around the classroom. Their excited laughter and smiles made the activity lively and engaging.
Teachers then introduced the significance of the color yellow explaining how it represents happiness, energy, freshness, and positivity. To make the experience interactive, children explored real yellow objects like bananas, sunflowers, corn, and lemons. They touched, smelled, and even tasted some of the items, making learning fun and memorable.
In the art corner, children expressed their creativity through yellow-themed crafts painting bright suns, making paper sunflowers, and designing collages with yellow craft paper. Their joy and pride in displaying their artwork was truly heartwarming.
Snack time turned into a “Yellow Feast” with bowls of bananas, sweet mangoes, corn, lemon juice, and custard. The children enjoyed the delicious flavors while sharing laughter and stories with their friends.
The day ended on a cheerful note, with smiling faces and hearts filled with sunshine. Yellow Day was not just about learning a color but about celebrating joy, creativity, and togetherness.
